Welcome to Whitehall
The Whitehall Homeowners Association welcomes all residents of the Whitehall subdivision, which is in the St. Andrews / Seven Oaks area of Columbia, South Carolina. With 1,200+ homes, we have many opportunities to join together for neighborhood enhancement, socializing, and community projects.
All residents of Whitehall are automatically members of the Whitehall HOA, and are invited to attend twice-a-year neighborhood meetings, as well as other activities sponsored by the WHOA.
You'll get to know your neighbors quickly, when you join a WHOA project or activity. Opportunities include occasional support for a single activity, or taking part in a committee project, or serving on the Community Advisory Board, or even joining the Board of Directors.
Reminder: 2026 dues are due
The Whitehall HOA requests that households pay the $48 annual dues as soon as possible. The single annual fee provides the
benefits of the paid membership to everyone in the household. There are several ways to pay:
- By mail — print and complete the paper information form and mail it with a check.
- Online — complete the online information form; at the end, continue to PayPal for payment.
- In person — at the April 23 Spring Neighborhood Meeting, complete a member information form, and pay by cash, check, credit card or Venmo.
For nostalgia's sake — You may be able to snag a vintage Whitehall street sign
A few of the street signs from Whitehall's first half-century are still available for purchase. Is your street one of the lucky ones? We still have vintage signs available for these streets (some streets have more than one sign available):
|
Banbury Road
Barmount Drive Harrow Drive Kettering Road
Keswick Road
Lewisham
Lydgate Drive
|
Massingale Road
Old Friars Road
S. Stonehedge Drive Sulgrave Drive Tram Road
Whitcomb Road
Wilkshire Drive
|
The signs have been cleaned and cut down to fit easily in your trunk or a truck bed. The suggested price is $25, and all proceeds will go into the treasury for future Whitehall HOA projects.
To request a sign, click
Contact Us and select "I'd like a vintage street sign" as your subject line. Let us know which street you're interested in, and we'll get in touch with you.
About the new trash and recycling schedules
If you pay for trash collection, the new provider for Whitehall is NewSouth Waste. They've revised the pickup schedules for weekly household/yard trash, and for alternate-weeks recycling. Recycling is on varying days/weeks throughout Whitehall.
For weekly household trash and yard trash:
Throughout the neighborhood, these are picked up every THURSDAY.
Please note, they don't pick up loose leaf-piles. You must bag or barrel your leaves for pickup.
For alternate-weekly recycling pickups:
Recycling is picked up in Whitehall on schedules that vary — either on alternate MONDAYS and on alternate FRIDAYS.
- Once you're there, find your household/yard trash pickup day and recycling week (Week A or Week B) and day by clicking on ***Solid Waste Curbside Service District map***, then enter your address.
- Your pickup day (Thursday), and recycling day/week are displayed in the left column.
-
- Recycling Week A is on alternate MONDAYS including November 17 and December 1.
-
- Recycling Week B is on alternate FRIDAYS including November 29 (postponed to Saturday because of Thanksgiving) and December 5.
While you're on the County's Solid Waste Management page, you can scroll down to
Recycling Week to download a printable PDF recycling calendar. Or download the calendar

Spring 2026 Newsletter to be published in mid-April
The spring 2026 newsletter will be published just before the April 23 neighborhood meeting. The newsletter is mailed to all households in Whitehall, and emailed to residents who have requested electronic delivery.
To change your delivery preference, click
Contact Us and select "E-delivery of my newsletter." as your subject line.
Opportunities for involvement
Members are encouraged to get involved with the following two activities:
- The annual December recognition of holiday decorations of homes/yards.
- The distribution and placement of American flags on several patriotic holidays.
Both are traditions that we have enjoyed for many years. The models are in place for both, we just need two or more energetic people to coordinate or participate, and to bring new life to these events.
Cleaning up street litter
We're asking all residents to help with keeping our streets free of litter.
- In your own yard, pick up any litter that lands in your yard, or on your street, especially on trash day.
- Walking in the neighborhood, carry a bag with you to collect litter.
- Of course, don't contribute new litter to the problem!
Are my dues paid? How do I join?
To check on your dues status, click
Contact Us and ask us to look it up for you. Please be patient, it could take a few days, because the info must be checked manually, and we're all volunteers. Thanks!
